Stingy

Today’s picture is Gabe, holding up a placemat he made at school. These moments with Gabe were a real highlight of my day today.

I got home after Sara and the boys finished dinner tonight. The boys were sitting on the couch, playing their DS’s, and I went into the kitchen to grab some dinner. After a couple minutes, Gabe came in and wanted to hang out, still playing his DS. I told him I didnt want to share him with Mario…that I wanted time with him without the DS because I was stingy. Right away, he turned off the DS and spent the next several minutes telling Sara and me about his day and showing us papers from school.

It was truly lovely.
